Has anybody heard this song? The song is "American Hair Band", the band is TUFF. I think it's actually been on the radio in a few places. Freaking AWESOME song. It's sort of a parody of the song "American Bad Ass" by Kid Rock -- it also uses the music from "Sad But True" by Metallica. You really have to hear this song -- very clever, funny, and rocking all at the same time. It's loaded with references to hair bands and self-deprecating humor. They take a lot of shots at Cobain, Vedder, and the whole grunge scene as well. I got it from Napster -- the CD is not out yet. If you were into 80's metal AT ALL, you must hear this. Even if you weren't, it's awesome.

I just heard it. Its ok. Taking someones music and adding your own words doesn't appeal to me. The song is tongue in cheek, and the lyrics are funny while poking fun at a whole bunch of people.
