Nice surprise. I was certain this was getting cancelled even though season 2 was one of the top shows on TV this year. Huge improvement over the 1st season.
I actually thought the development of the PC market in a New South setting was interesting enough to garner a decent long term narrative, but obviously with ratings around 500,000/week they were justified in closing the generation gap technologically and developing Joe and Cameron beyond their hideous caricatures.
I'm not sure where they're gonna go next with this show, these guys already invetned online social media and it's like 1985 by its timeline. They're gonna be inventing the cloud and iphones before 1990.
Can't wait to see how Cameron and Donna invent the iPhone and MMORPGS since they seem to have invented FPSs, message boards, social media, etc.
i binge watched this recently. liking s3 the most where they've ditched the soap opera elements. lee pace's character is great, reminiscent of a vincent price anti-hero.
