Altuve is a stud, he should be ROY ahead of Judge, the guy is just Clutch

Judge can have the ROY, we're all about the MVP over here.

In my opinion the best hitter I ever saw was Tony Gwynn. The best of all-time was Ted Williams (even Gwynn thought so).

If Altuve can keep this up for another 6-8 yrs I might just have to put him above Gwynn. The kid is a freakin hitting machine.

Judge has definitely had an incredible yr, but there's no doubt that Altuve is the MVP this yr.

Tony Gwynn and Wade Boggs. Altuve is right there with Cabrera and Pujols as the best RH hitters I've ever seen.

    eta: Mike Trout also

Rod Carew was a machine and it felt like Tony Gwynn got a hit every time I watched him

The eye popping difference is the strikeouts. Unreal by Altuve.

I think going into the playoffs the perception would have been he's the guy we didn't really want to give it to, because he's not that marketable, but we pretty much have to do it. But NOW, that narrative changed after his ridiculous postseason, the 3 homer game, taking out Judge, the clutch homers and hits in game 5 vs Kershaw, the ring, the trophy, his confidence, and his lovable nature. Think everyone will be proud they voted for him and for the fact that he justified the vote with a postseason for the ages.

While the super villain judge is out there scaring people,
altuve is giving his hat to venezuelan kids he meets.Kid rejoices and starts crying. I can only compare to meeting a beatle or big yao.

Are you disqualifying Manny and ARod for PEDs?

Ramirez career OPS is .996 !!! CAREER !!

Ortiz might be the most clutch hitter ever -- definitely the past 25 years.

    Tony Gwynn for me.

Tony struck out only 433 times in a 20 yr career. Jose has around 460 through 7 years. Regardless both are elite hitters
