lebron, harden, any other elite player has enough impact and is good enough to not to be the worst team in the league. Donovan Mitchell led the jazz to playoffs as a rookie. Harden had the same effect in his first season in houston at just 22 yrs of age. My point is Sengun is overrated

Why Harden could not do it in OKC? My point is your bb knowledge is zero.

Elite players or the top players can carry their team to playoffs, Harden, Donic, Lebron, etc.

Harden did make it into playoffs with okc.

Harden was able to carry our team to playoffs basically alone when he first came here.

Sengun is not at the level yet where he can single handily dominate the game by himself. Pretty sure u can admit to that.

the thunder were so bad with russ and durant they drafted top 3 and picked harden. The very same year they made the playoffs with harden and won 50 games

Oh, so your point was Durant is not an elite player. Since his team was terrible in his first few years. And elite players do not let that happen. Good to know.

You're comparing apples and orangutans. Harden and Donovan are guards with the ball in their hands, Alpi needs a entry pass. Harden had McHale, an NBA Hall of Famer, coaching him when he got here and even though he was not great, he's leagues better than what Alpi has as a coach.

Now, obviously, Sengun is not good enough to lead this team and this organization to the playoffs right now--there are few in the game who could--and I remind everyone that there were five years in a row where a Dream led team lost in the first round or did not make the playoffs. To use the playoff metric to say Sengun is overrated is a stretch. The reason people are excited about Sengun is the obvious potential and how he would fit on a team of smart players. And, of course, what else is there to be excited about except another lottery?

Did you know that Michael Jordan's team didn't reach .500 until his 5th season? He clearly was not an elite player.

All i know is that Sengun isn't at the level where he can carry us to the playoffs. He certainly is considered a threat since i think he draws more double team than anyone else on the team.

Im excited to see how much better Sengun will look under a competent coach who really recognize his talents.

    Do not manipulate.
Harden was a sidekick there and was traded immediately. Afterthat he won nothing so far. You are talking about winning something and proposing a failed player as a success story.
Durant won something, LeBron won something, Curry won something, Harden didn't.

Harden was a rocket that carried out team for years to the playoffs. not everybody can win it all.
U are gonna b extremely disappointed if winning it all is the only way to define a success story. we haven't won in almost 30 years, at the rate we are going sengun might not win a ring anytime soon.

Sengun is not good enough to carry us to the playoffs by himself like the folks u mentioned true or false?

Not if he only gets 15 minutes and doesn't get the ball enough.

did Harden Mitchel Lebron played 15 minutes a night and daishen nix was their playmaker , taking the ball out of their hands LOL?
did they have a coach to sit them when theyre hot and take them out of rhythm?

you clearly hate on alpi because hes already better than harden LOL

but thank you bro ill take this as admission that even you think sengun is better than the beard

its probably hard to come across a fan that regards harden as high as i appreciate him...

yet sengun is simply already at another level as a playmaker and a player...

sengun is harden on steroids, a trickier harden, stronger, taller, less selfish, in a better shape, harden without unnecessary ball pounding and settling for 3s, he is also a harden with a right attitude...a team oriented harden!

He did not want to play last night. He was not there. I don't know the reason, might be game plan, might be silly JGreen misses at the beginning, might be Nix bricks. Anyway he gave up very early, no defense, no assists.

It is obvious that there is a huge crack between Sengun and Silas. One of them will go eventually.

I agree about last night. Sengun is getting really frustrated while his teammates yuck it up on the bench, he looks pissed. Silas is running a clown show and he’s driving the miniature bug. I’m ok with tanking, but not by alienating your best player. Put Silas on a bus the hell out of here, Right f*cking now!

He yucked it up last night. Look at his turnovers and assists.

Sengun though as a hard worker has personal responsibility and will be frustrated with himself unlike his cult members who assign no personal responsibility towards him.

Curry is the only one that didn't run to a chip. Harden has an MVP, was robbed of another, scoring title, assist title, numerous All NBA....you could combine every player on this roster and they likely won't get close to what Harden has accomplished.
