"Heil Drumpf!" "Heil, mein Führer!" "Sieg Heil!" Trump reportedly wanted tanks and missile launchers at his inaugural parade — but the military shot down the idea http://www.businessinsider.com/trump-inauguration-parade-tanks-missile-launchers-2017-1
Yes, but to people still throwing a temper tantrum about losing an election over 2 months ago, it must seem like the end of the word because they have the mentality of a 5 year old.
Oh don't get me wrong. I am quiet upset he gets the honor of being called our President. But he cannot become a despot if we the people stand up for America's values.
Unfair childish "criticism" is. Oh same here, I think it's a disgrace that Donald Trump is going to be president, but I came to terms with the disappointment in the American people a long time ago when I realized that it was either going to be Trump or Hillary as the next president. To be fair, I threw a bit of a tantrum myself when I realized that was the case, that the next president would be a national embarrassment no matter who won....but I got over it because I'm not an infant. Hell, I didn't like that Obama was going to be president because of how much I disagree with his politics, but that didn't make unfair childish "criticism" okay. The dipshits today talking about how Trump is "not a legitimate president" or calling him a "despot" or acting like the US is coming to it's end are really no different than the dipshits who were saying that Obama was an undercover Muslim Socialist who was going to enact Sharia on the people of the US. People can be upset with a result not being what they want without going full potato. Unfortunately, we have way too many window licking potatoes these days.
So sick of reading these hit pieces citing unnamed "sources". Makes it so easy for the media to make up whatever they want.
That's what despots say before taking the media to court for libel/defamation.... Oh, who am I kidding? Despots just shut the media down. So perhaps you prefer threat of incarceration if a "rumor" is re-tweeted 500 times? Then you should move to China. It's right up your alley. Except be warned that it's the government that gets to decide what's rumor and what isn't.
It looks to me like you're still throwing a tantrum. You've just redirected it towards people who are expressing their disapproval and alarm over all the awful things Trump has done and promises to do, instead of pretending (like you) that we all should just sit back and take it because the election is over.
Not in the least. I dealt with the anger and disappointment of knowing that either Trump or Hillary was going to be the next president and moved on. It was no different than when I dealt with the disappointment of Obama being elected....only a bit more embarrassing if I'm honest. At first I had a good laugh at all of the salt coming from the left as they made asses of themselves over and over again, and it even made the shock of Trump becoming president easier to deal with, but now it's gotten annoying. If they want anyone to take them seriously as adults they can't keep acting like this.
Not sure what specifically you're referring to. If enough people voice disapproval over some of the stuff Trump has said or promised he'll do, that will prevent it from becoming "normalized" position in our political discourse. I approve it, to that extent. I don't think its worthwhile to spend energy on trying to boot him out of office because some think he cheated his way to a win. That just makes Dems look like sore, pathetic losers. Now, if you don't have a strong view on those issues people are protesting, I can see why you think its just annoying and you want them to shut up about it. Protest movements are definitely annoying to people who don't find the issues that important. But they are effective, if well-organized.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/worl...9ede3c8cafa_story.html?utm_term=.f7731d3bd5d6 He may not be Prez for very long. Or he might be our last Prez. He will definitely be our worst, and he will accomplish that by noon. America was great. Now it's Trump'd.
