Good luck with the Mt. Evans ride! I drove up that road a couple of years ago in August and it was snowing at the top! Watch out for Mountain Goats, too!

In Boulder, fits are manditory (a given), so I didn't think to mention it in the OP. They really don't let you walk out of the shop without one, as opposed to Houston, where West End Cycles didn't even mention it when I got my Jamis, 9yrs ago.

Congrats... I don't know much about the frame but my Lemond has 105... solid, smooth shifting stuff. Good luck on your ride!
