Ads in the middle of the page

Been going on for quite a while. It hasn’t gotten better. I guess since Im not a paying member I gotta just suck it up. I hope the moderator/owner is at least answering you pay guys in private.

 

I just hope those ads pay really well because they are absolutely the worst. They should pay at least double for the inconvenience

 

@tinman how are the conversations with Clutch coming along on this issue? Are you having daily WebEx meetings to solve this problem?

Well damn, my company didn't get us WebEx accounts until last year when the pandemic hit

 

The newest ads are from my wife’s company. This is all her fault.

 

Just had a middle of page ad that would not let me refresh the page. I had to close and reopen the page

 

This is the worst.
On Android.
Can barely type, read, or like anything.
Sigh.

 

Well it’s been over a month and the problem still hasn’t been resolved so either...

1. Clutch doesn’t know how to resolve the issue
2. Clutch doesn’t want to resolve the issue

Either case, seems like the ads are here to stay on mobile devices. I guess since there is less traffic now because of the tanking, it’s affecting the revenue and these ads pay more generously. Sucks that viewing this site on my phone is annoying as bell, (it has curbed my viewing) BUT....I digress.

This might be the death of clutchfans. Tried responding 3 times to somebody but couldn't because of the big fat ad that freezes everything

Its hasn’t gotten better. I am not on here nearly as much as I was.

I understand the issue to an extent... I get why it was done. What I don't understand is why @Clutch hasn't addressed it at all. Just knowing that he knows about it and has heard our concerns would go a long way.

This site has become nearly unusable for me. This could be the death of Clutchfans for me. i had to type this message from another place on my phone, copy, and paste this message in order to avoid that piece of $hit ad that pops up in the middle of the damn page.

 

I use firefox on ios and it has worked for me.
