This has become absolutely ridiculous. What's the point of contributing if you have to put up with this nonsense? I'm getting tired of having to leave the site over and over because ads you can't even click to remove freeze the screen?.
Yeah... It's damn near impossible on mobile. Half the time the ad loading delay causes me to hit the Amazon ads when I scroll down to reply. But with those I can at least hit an x or go back. No worries. But these floating ads with no x to close them are covering everything up. I'm sure when clutch gets a chance he'll look into resolving the issue with these ads. Like he did in the past with some troublesome ads.
I thought it was just me. Basically site is u unusable on mobile. Can’t open one page in a thread without a pop up ad blocking me.
I just reupped my site subscription thinking these ads were hitting me cause my subscription lapsed. Still getting them constantly. Woof.
I didn't re-up because I was still having to deal with the ads paid sub or not. I'm sure this place used to consume a lot of Clutch's life. Priorities change and he has more important things to tend to. Just wish he had someone to turn this site over to that has time for it.

Wait, you guys are Gold Members and get ads? Do you get ads when using a computer, too? Donny, if you are double subscribed, you should have two badges. Does activation of subscription status happen automatically upon paying, or does Clutch do that manually? Potentially, you are in his queue, if he has to do it manually. fwiw: in this post, he asks contributors having problems with their level of subscriptions to post a conversation to him. Apparently I was confused. Didn't realize there was two tiers of membership. I'm just regular. I'd upgrade but that would probably be a pita now to apply my funds from my regular membership to gold.
I thought i had the ad delay causing me to click the ad was unique to me. Just happy to hear its not user error
I've got the same problem on an Android phone. Pretty much made the site accessible only by PC. Can't complain though, since I'm not a paying member. Also, it's done wonders for my Clutchfans addiction.
