It's Silver's right as commissioner to do this. But injecting politics into the NBA(especially over the bathroom bill issue) is bad business. Once you go down that road, you're gonna have people lobbying the NBA and every other major sports league on God knows how many pieces of legislation(federal and state) and executive orders and demanding boycotts and repercussions. Just keep politics out of it altogether. People can protest the sporting event, but don't take sides as a league on trivial matters(and yes, it's trivial compared to the real sh-t we face as a nation and world) like people being allowed to use any public bathroom they like regardless of gender.
