And Trump has been accused of sexual misconduct by like 17 women, all false. What are the odds? Poor guy just can't catch a break in life.

Certainly no honest person would say they believe it is beyond you people to put up 17 women with false accusations in an effort to smear him.

The Democrat hit machine has clairvoyant operatives who planted accusations back in the 90s knowing he would run as a GOP Presidential candidate in 2016.

These Democrats are far more powerful than we thought. Not only are they commie atheist heathens. Now they are using dark magic. How far will they go?

More worrying is the medias insistence that African Americans need not be held to the same standard as whites, despite us living in modern times.

Conveniently ignoring high murder and violent crime stats in order to promote a marketable, f the po po culture, excuses for serena William's wrongful and aggressive behavior when losing to fit slavery narratives (which have absolutely nothing to do with the situation at hand), and a bloodthirsty need to go for the jugular of any straight white male with a hint of masculinity to justify their own ability to advance based on merit.

Successful minorities rightly want nothing to do with that.

The truth is due process just does not apply in these kinds of cases, why did it take so long for cosby and Weinstein to be kicked out of work despite many, many accusers already having reported crimes? What good does forensic evidence do if the person in power, like bill Clinton, says it's consensual when given the context everyone knows its not?

I am glad females are being vocal about this and giving detailed descriptions, it makes the younger girls know they dont have to play the favors game to get work. They can act like females and still be respected. Act like a hussy and well... you'll get treated like one. Man or female. Equality.

This is sexism just as much as any sexism charge that a woman ever leveled at any man. If a woman launches the power of the state against an innocent man, which she can very easily do, his life can be ruined every bit as much as a women who has been physically assaulted or abused.

There's more than one guy who has been jailed due to false charges. Moreover, how is it that a man falsely charged and jailed makes up for some other grievance? The mind boggles. This is a "reparations" mentality which should not be countenanced.

Almost all a man has to do to not have his life ruined is to not commit sexual harassment or sexual assault. If men do that they will be alright more than 9 times out 10. Women, however, even if they do come forward will be attacked, degraded, called names mocked, judged, shamed, etc.

So, again, for a man to not have his life ruined, he just needs to not sexually assault or harass women. Then his life will not be ruined by being accused of sexual harassment and assault.

The problem is that a lot of guys just found it so much easier when women would just be quiet not cause such a big stink. Even if a guy made a crude joke at a woman's expense, or hit on a woman that worked for him, he wasn't trying to be mean. To him, it was no big deal. The woman should have been flattered. But now they have to be worried about women making a big stink about something that to the men was so minuscule and not worth the big fuss.

But obviously, to the women, it was a big deal.

It has nothing to do with sexism. It's purely numbers. One case versus one million cases.
Besides...I am not aware since when someone can be imprisoned for 20 years without a trial in the USA?

Absolutely ridiculous, misogynistic and mind blowing that there are people in this world at this age that are trying to equate widespread sexual assaults with sporadic miscarriage of justice and on top of it blame it on women instead on the judicial system!

There's more than one guy who has been jailed due to false DNA results.
Conclusion we should not believe DNA resuts.

That proves my point rather than goes against it. That is absolutely a less frequent occurrence than 1 out of 10. That is probably more like 1 out of 10 million.

I teach 9-year-old kids. You know what I will tell them to help them stay out of situations like these? Nothing. That incident will never ever happen to any of them.

You don't think the fact that it happens AT ALL is a serious problem? That a woman was bold enough to knowingly falsely accuse a CHILD and lie to the police???

The interesting (and horrifying) thing about this whole Kavanaugh-Blasey Ford debacle was the larger issues it raised.

I think too many people got caught up in counting the votes; checking the validity of the evidence; finding the latest news source; and partisan politics.

All important stuff, to be sure.

This incident did not come out of nowhere, it's been building up. Whether it will continue to do so is anybody's guess, but my guess is that it will (unfortunately).

One side screamed "due process"; the other side screamed "believe survivors" (without evidence, apparently).

But the bigger issue, I might argue, is that you have people living in the same country who do not see the same "reality." If the parties cannot agree on what "reality" is, there seems little hope of agreement, and perhaps even civil society.

Here is an interesting video that I think speak well to the bigger picture:

Yes, it is wrong when anyone makes a false allegation. Statistically, it almost never happens. It is better to address the rare instances when it does happen on a case by case basis.

How can you possibly rely on statistics for something like this? That kid lucked out because there happened to be a security camera at exactly the right angle to exonerate him.

This is not very good reasoning. DNA evidence should be taken into account, and weighed heavily. But I would not accept it without reservation and confirmation; and it is not the only thing that should be considered in a legal case.

Hopefully in the near future, there will be cameras everywhere, video everywhere so men can't get away with it anymore as they have since the beginning of time.

More accurately that would be closer to 100,000 cases vs 1,000,000 cases. Also, no evidence is required to have a man's life ruined with false accusations, just ask Paul Nungesser, he was put through several years of complete BS simply because a woman decided to lie and make rape allegations against him.

If you can't have sympathy for the victims of false allegations.....maybe it does have something to do with sexism.
