    Followed by:

    a Dominican
    a Lithuanian
    a Chinese-American
    a Turk
    (and some more black guys)

Considering all the different nations represented here, this has got to be one of the most, if not the most, diverse team in the NBA present or past. Can anyone think of any other teams that could lay claim to this distinction? When the league starting making its big push towards international players in the '90s, I scoffed at the idea--as did most others I think--but it's nice to see that it's become the new normal in the NBA.

Note: I had to make this thread before we potentially lost our Turkish representative!

Another note: Surely someone has pointed this out before on here, so if this is a retread, sorry in advance.

Agreed. Getting Chinese and Taiwanese mixed up is the most racist thing I've ever heard. Much worst than slavery.

They are Euro. You can tell because DMo has a nice skill level, but not the high motor that white players tend to have.

    Why isn't he just "American"

Do you constantly ask your white friends if they're French American or Greek Americans?

For crying out loud, he also singled out Turk, Jew, Dominican from white. Yikes, I am still worried for OP.

Because he was pointing out the different nationalities , not races.

I don't like where this thread is going.

Y'all focus on the NATIONALITIES not the races or I'm closing this.

In terms of diversity, there's definitely teams that have it.

    Take for example:

    Minnesota Timberwolves:

    JJ Barea - Puerto Rico
    Gogui Dieng - Senegal
Luc Mbah a Moute - Cameroon
    Nikola Pekovic - Yugoslavia
    Ricky Rubio - Spain
    Alexey Shved - Russia
    Ronny Turiaf - France
then add the U.S. players Kevin Love, Kevin Martin, Shabazz Muhammad, etc
