I'm sure this is half wishful thinking on behalf of Smoove. But if a trade happens that opens up a spot for a vet min guy then I don't see why not if he's in playing shape. I'm sure the front office would love to keep guys like Smoove interested but I doubt they'd make any guarantees.

Has there been any other player who has had 3 different stints with the Rockets?

Morey didn't sign him the year after his good playoff performance, why in the world would he do it now? I'll bet $5000 it's total and utter nonsense

We may need to elevate our hard cap ceiling if we are going to sign Josh and also trade for Melo.

I agree, that is if the O wasn't here.

But - - in the event there might be a shred of legs to JSmoove's return then I wonder if that implies a role as a 5 (meaning CC were sacrificed)?

    I am 'braced' for the a-dieu a-dieu a-dieu of a-Capela...

How is Yi not in the NBA?

The guy is 7+ feet tall really athletic dunks everything and can move his feet and has a decent outside shot.

He seems like the modern NBA big.

I remember he played with the lakers in preseason 2 years ago and had multiple 20 point games but he asked to be released because they wouldn't gaurentee him playing time. Which to me is stupid seeing how the lakers don't have anyone down low worth a damn. Would have saved them from potentially signing mozgof that next summer.
