Was watching at home with my wife, son and a friend and his girlfriend. He's an avid Red Sox fan but was pulling for us to eliminate the Yankees and Dodgers. I think I stood up for the last three innings and after the last out I was just in shock. Felt surreal. I fell to the floor in elation and and had a quick cry. Then proceeded to watch the next 9 hours of post game coverage, MLBN, radio you name it and drink a lot in celebration.
I was riding a motorcycle over trail ridge road in Colorado with my shirt off and no helmet. I wish Trail Ridge usually closes because of snow in October.
I was working a late shift at my job. Kept checking my phone for updates like every 2 minutes. When I got off work, it was top of the 7th and we were up 5-1. Being a Houston sports fan, I had this sick feeling that we were still going to blow the game. I came to home to much relief that it was still 5-1 in the top of the 9th. And the rest is history.
