rr14 - equally talented teams, have to pick one. Tough to defend Tony Parker and Gordon when KG can draw opposing shotblocker to the FT line. But CP3-Amare is equally hard to defend. anyway, have to pick one. maloe. Oelman's team has more talent but there are no 3pt shooters. solid mid range shooting, but that's not enough imo. all of those players are very talent offensively, all of them want to post up or penetrate or pick and roll, and when it's so crowded, these players are going to be underused. Jmc. This is very close but since it's over, i'm just going to give props to bluffkin. his team looks like "best under 25" But the end result is actually a good team. I think Durant this year is as good as Kobe any year. George is comparable to prime Marion. he has Asik on Bynum (advantage to Jmc obviously but it'd be interesting to see what Asik could do defensively). Westbrook vs. Devin or Holiday (i'd start Holiday) and Blake vs. Ibaka -- advantage to bluffkin. Bench - Jmc. Overall, like i said, pretty even. I like how Jmc's team works and I think he matches up pretty well too. But I think bluffkin's team would have a good shot here. Spooner. i think Spooner just has more talent. frontcourt about even (assuming Melo off the bench), backcourt Spooner by a lot. Bench VBG but it isn't actually far away, Butler-Lewis-Horford is one of the most talented benches, although none of them are Melo. i also think this isn't the worst matchup for Spooner, JO/Horford/Brand on Pau and Aldridge, Prince on Roy (or Melo). that's pretty good defense. Spooner's weak spot is Nash's defense but i don't think Mo Williams' offense would be enough to turn the tables here. LCAhmed. Very even. Qaz has the backcourt and bench. LCAhmed the frontcourt and i like his defense and offense a little bit more. LeBron-West-Bogut is awesome. i think Bogut got underrated in this draft. his prime was very short, just one year, and he even got snubbed for the all star game that year. but that prime was really high. elite defense, very good offense, brains. like, Bynum or prime Bogut wasn't clear at all to me. Horry. Tbh i don't know about this one. Jamers has the best 2 players but Horry arguably has the next best 4 or even 5 players. And a great bench. Typical superstars vs. depth matchup. Rondo on Rose and Sheed on Duncan. And there's Noah looking to help. That's some elite defense there. Anyway, since this is over, i'll just keep it simple and say Jamers loses because of the BENCH.
Thats hard to believe. Your clearly knowledgable about the players. Im always worried you or VBG is gonna steal my guy. I guess its just matchups. I feel your pain, I lost in the finals twice. Good luck next time
