You won't get an answer out of them. If somehow you do, it will be spin, hand wringing, or some other sort of denial / change of subject.

That is because they are here to tell a narrative. A narrative that white people are the best and under siege. That Cops are in the right, and those who oppose them are criminals. That blacks are to blame for all their problems, and liberals are to blame for the rest. That the only people who are correct are people who think and act and believe in what they do. Everyone else is a liar, morally lacking, or brainwashed.

If it doesn't fit that narrative, it doesn't fit their story, and they will disappear.

They have the court hearing on Youtube. It’s several hours long. I’ve only listened to the 1st hour so far, but I want to listen to the entire thing in order to make sure that there isn’t some important information that was presented that wasn’t disclosed in articles.

from what I can summarize so far

-it was confirmed that Arbery’s home was about 1.8 miles away from the house under construction...if u recall, the low IQ racists like @Trader_Jorge and @dachuda86 were falsely claiming he lived 12 miles away

-the only thing that was ever stolen from the home was a few pieces of wood by some kids

-video from a camera in Roddy’s driveway shows Arbery trying to get away from the McMichaels’ truck...it was described as “Arbery would move backwards, the truck would move backwards...he’d move forward, the truck would move forward”....Roddy yells out “Do u got him?” to the McMichaels who he claims he didn’t really know (he has met Greg McMichael, but didn’t know Travis)...at this point, he claims he couldn’t actually recognize who was in the truck since Greg was in the passenger seat and not yet in the bed of the truck...he recognized their truck as one that belongs in the neighborhood tho, so he hops in his truck to assist in the pursuit of Arbery

-Arbery continued running with the McMichaels behind him, but eventually he turns around and starts running back in the direction of the home under construction (I’m under the impression that it’s because he’s trying to get out of the neighborhood)...Greg exits the vehicle to confront Arbery who runs past them, so Greg then tells Travis to back up his vehicle so that they can engage him...as all this is going on, Roddy is just now exiting his driveway, and he sees Arbery running back towards his house...at this point, he completely pulls out of the driveway and uses his truck to block Arbery’s path on the street

-Greg hops in the bed of Travis’s truck and they decide that they’re going to cut Arbery off again by going around the neighborhood and getting back in front of him...the street they were on kind of loops around in a circle (it’s hard to describe thru text)

-Arbery runs past Roddy’s truck that’s blocking his path in the street and Roddy tries to make several attempts to cut him off...Roddy told police that Arbery kept moving out of the way and even ran into a ditch to try and avoid his truck

-the pursuit continues and Arbery eventually sees the McMichaels’ truck heading towards him with Roddy’s truck behind him, so he stops, turns around, and heads towards Roddy ultimately running past his truck...all of this is seen on video that was on Roddy’s cellphone (what got leaked to the public was only a portion of what Roddy had recorded)

-the McMichaels also drive past Roddy’s truck as they continue to pursue Arbery, and Roddy then turns his truck around to continue the pursuit...so we now have Arbery with the McMichaels behind him and Roddy behind them...at some point, the McMichaels drive ahead of Arbery and they stop...this is when we see the events that got leaked with Travis out of the vehicle with his shotgun

-Greg McMichaels says while on police body cam footage and later in police interviews that he didn’t know whether Arbery had stolen anything, but he had a “gut feeling” that Arbery may have been responsible for previous robberies in the neighborhood...he tells the police his instincts told him that

-Travis McMichaels had told police that he had ordered Arbery to get on the ground at gunpoint just prior to the shooting

-Roddy admitted that he had tried to pursue and block Arbery and that after the shooting took place, but before police had arrived, he heard Travis McMichael say the statement “fcking n***er” as Arbery lay on the ground

-Greg McMichaels had conversations with Roddy concerning the video and the incident prior to being arrested...and while in jail, somebody had called Greg talking about Roddy, and during that convo with the caller, Greg called Roddy an “ally”

Three men indicted on murder charges in death of Ahmaud Arbery

Three men indicted on murder charges in death of Ahmaud Arbery

June 24, 2020 – Cobb District Attorney Joyette M. Holmes announces that Glynn County’s Grand Jury has indicted Travis McMichael, Greg McMichael and William R. Bryan on malice and felony murder charges in the Feb. 23, 2020, death of Ahmaud Marquez Arbery, 25.

The indictment returned today formally charges each of the three defendants with nine counts: malice murder; felony murder (four counts); aggravated assault (two counts); false imprisonment; and criminal attempt to commit false imprisonment.

The indictment is viewable online at www.glynncounty.org/1086/Superior-Court

“This is another step forward in seeking justice for Ahmaud. Our team from the Cobb Judicial Circuit has been committed to effectively bringing forward the evidence in this case and today was no exception. It has been an effort of many agencies including the Georgia Bureau of Investigation and the Department of Justice who have worked together to get to this point. We will continue to be intentional in the pursuit of justice for this family and the community at large as the prosecution of this case continues,” DA Holmes said.

The Cobb DA’s Office was able to present this case today to Glynn County’s Grand Jury pursuant to the Second Order Extending the Declaration of Statewide Judicial Emergency, signed by Georgia Supreme Court Chief Justice Harold D. Melton on May 11, 2020, which states: “Grand juries that are already impaneled or are recalled from a previous term of court may meet to attend to time-sensitive essential matters, but these grand juries should not be assembled except when necessary and only under circumstances in which social distancing and other public health guidance can be followed.”

This was reiterated in the Third Order Extending the Declaration of Statewide Judicial Emergency, issued on June 12, 2020. The additional Guidance from the Supreme Court authorizes a district attorney to assemble an existing grand jury if the district attorney determines the matter is essential to the administration of justice, if a delay may substantially harm to public interest, and if the grand jury can be assembled safely.

it’s just trolling and an inability to admit when you’re wrong...dachode, senator, and the other racist idiots are all the same

it was clear from the jump they don’t have the intellect to discuss facts, and the facts go against what they wished had happened which is the rightful execution of a black thug, so they disappeared

all those racist idiots were getting spanked like children throughout this thread...they decided to move onto other topics like BLM to spread their racist rhetoric...morons posting threads about what Ali Jr has to say like his opinion means anything...their desperation is amusing

The three suspects charged in the death of Ahmaud Arbery are scheduled to appear in a Glynn County courtroom next week.

The hearing is set for Friday, July 17, for Greg McMichael, Travis McMichael, and William “Roddie” Bryan. A notice for the hearing shows attorneys for the suspects have filed a motion to strike the illegal appointment of the district attorney and a motion for relief from inflammatory statements made by people claiming to speak for Arbery and his family. Bond is also scheduled to be discussed for Bryan.

The three Glynn County men accused in the murder of 25-year-old Ahmaud Arbery appeared via video conference Friday at an arraignment hearing, pleading not guilty to all charges. During a hearing on a motion to grant bond following the arraignments, it came out that one of the defendants is under federal investigation for sex crimes.

Travis McMichael and his father, Gregory, are accused in the shooting of Arbery in late February as he jogged through their Satilla Shores neighborhood. William “Roddie” Bryan recorded on his cell phone the final moments of Arbury running for his life and being gunned down. All three were formally charged Friday morning in connection with the case Friday morning and each entered not guilty pleas.

The three men were arrested more than 70 days after the shooting of Arbery after Bryan’s cellphone video of the incident went viral. What was seen in the video conflicted with what the three men told Glynn County police after the shooting.

After the arraignment hearing, the Superior Court Judge Timothy Walmsley heard motions filed by Bryan’s attorney, Kevin Gough, including asking that his client be released on bond pending trial.

“Keeping him in jail isn’t accomplishing anything,” Gough said prior to entering court Friday. “Roddie is struggling in there. He’s not used to being in jail. He lost his house, his car, his job and everything, everything he has left in the world is in storage. If he can get back out, he can reclaim his life.”

During witness testimony in on the bond motion, the prosecutor revealed that Bryan is under investigation for sex crimes.

“There are texts to support the DOJ’s investigation,” Assistant District Attorney Jesse Evans said. “I can confirm as of yesterday, the GBI has opened an additional parallel investigation into sex crimes that stemmed from this. This now also heightens the risk of flight, as well.”

Arbery’s mother, Wanda Cooper-Jones, asked the judge to keep Bryan in jail pending their trial.

“Each time I visit there, I fear running into either man who killed my son,” Cooper-Jones said. “William Bryan does not feel he did anything wrong. What is to stop him from doing it again?”

Walmsley denied the motion to grant Bryan bail and a second motion requesting a gag order in the case.

Gough also argued a motion requesting that District Attorney Joyette Holmes be removed from the case, calling into question the way she was chosen. That motion was denied.

The circumstances of the case are unique in that prosecutors did not file criminal charges against the McMichaels and Bryan for more than 74 days.

Arbery’s lawyers accuse the Brunswick district attorney and Waycross district attorney of trying to protect the McMichaels because they have ties to law enforcement. However, when Georgia state investigators took over they found enough evidence within 36 hours to file charges.

While it wasn’t a formal motion, during the proceedings Gough objected to the Arbery’s lawyer, S. Lee Merritt, wearing a mask in the courtroom that bears the words “George Floyd.” While Judge Walmsley said he had not noticed the mask and didn’t want to rule on the legality of wearing it, he did ask that people wear content-neutral masks in court and that “no political statements should be made.”

After the hearings, Merritt spoke about the defendants describing their actions as a citizen’s arrest and that they killed Arbery, who was unarmed and running to get away from them as self-defense.

“We’re not looking for an apology, we’re looking for a conviction,” Merritt said. “I understand an apology will move us toward an area of remorse, but our greater concern is they believe murdering a man who’s jogging is OK. Their behavior and the reason why they represent such a danger to this community. In their mind (it) was perfectly legal.”

William Bryan Jr., one of three men charged with killing Black jogger Ahmaud Arbery, argued in a court filing Friday that Arbery should have known he was under citizens arrest and complied when heavily armed men tried to run him off the road and detain him.

In a preview of their legal strategy, Bryan’s lawyers said in the memo that Arbery had been caught on CCTV walking through a construction site and was on probation for shoplifting, and therefore should have surrendered when Bryan and Travis and Gregory McMichael tried to pin him between their trucks on a Georgia street in February. When Arbery refused to stop, the McMichaels confronted him, ending with Travis shooting him three times.

“Arbery was not authorized to resist arrest when objectively speaking he knew that he was lawfully subject to arrest,” the memo said, claiming that Travis shot Arbery in self defense because Arbery “suddenly turned and rushed” the McMichaels. Prosecutors alleged that Arbery was only fighting back after trying, numerous times, to avoid being run down by the McMichaels, who had no evidence Arbery had committed a crime.

Bryan was denied bond during a Friday hearing, with a judge deeming him to be a flight risk because of the severity of charges he faces. Aside from state murder charges, Bryan faces possible federal hate crimes charges and is under investigation for unrelated sex crimes uncovered during the Arbery investigation, prosecutors revealed for the first time Friday. “Racist and bigoted remarks” were found on Bryan’s phone, including liberal use of the N-word, they said. In a victim impact statement, Arbery’s mother, Wanda Cooper, said: “My son actually ran around him. My son actually ran for his life, but William Bryan did not allow my son to go home.”

Bryan told investigators he heard Travis McMichael use a racial epithet after fatally shooting Arbery, Dial testified during the preliminary hearing. Body camera footage also showed a Confederate flag sticker on the toolbox of McMichael's truck, he said.
On cross-examination, Dial testified Bryan mentioned the slur in a May 13 GBI interview, and to Dial's knowledge, Bryan had not previously made the allegation, including during a May 11 interview.

Dial said there were "numerous times" on social media and via messaging services that Travis McMichael used racial slurs, once messaging someone that he loved his job because there "weren't any N-words anywhere."
In another instance sometime before the shooting, he replied in an Instagram message that things would be better if someone had "blown that N-word's head off," Dial testified. Dial did not say to whom McMichael was referring and was not asked for more context.
Bryan, too, had several messages on his phone that included "racial" terms and indicated he may have prejudged Arbery when he saw him that day, Dial said.

"There's evidence of Mr. Bryan's racist attitude in his communications, and from that I extrapolate the reason why he made assumptions he did that day," he said. "He saw a man running down the road with a truck following him, and I believe he made certain assumptions that were, at least in part, based upon his racial bias."

@dachuda86 and others will defend their fellow racists until the bitter end

Arbery was trying to steal the gun while fleeing from felony activities -- the sex crime charges have been trumped up by the liberal deep state to help defend their weak position.

Bryan should have thought about that before he decided to be an accomplice to Arbery’s murder. Arbery can’t get his life back; Bryan doesn’t deserve to get his back either.

Racist social media posts and cellphone texts should be admitted into evidence at trial against the three men charged with the murder of Ahmaud Arbery, state prosecutors said in a recent court filing.

One reason to allow the evidence: “proof of motive,” prosecutors said.

In the recent court filing, prosecutors said they want to introduce into evidence against Travis McMichael a “racial highway video Facebook post,” “a Racial Johnny Rebel Facebook post” and a racial text message, all posted or sent in 2019. They seek to admit into evidence an “Identity Dixie Facebook post” and “Racial Johnny Rebel Facebook post” against Greg McMichael.

They also want to introduce unspecified racist messages extracted from Bryan’s cellphone. At a bond hearing in July, lead prosecutor Jesse Evans said Bryan repeatedly used the n-word in texts that contain “a ton of filth.”

GBI agent Richard Dial also previously testified that Bryan told investigators he heard Travis McMichael say the expletive-laden epithet, “f---ing n-word,” as he stood over the dying Arbery.

In an interview last month, McMichael’s lawyers, Bob Rubin and Jason Sheffield, said they believe Bryan could not have heard their client make any statement and denied he said such a thing. They also said the McMichaels did not chase down Arbery because he was a Black man.

In a separate court filing, prosecutors also asked Superior Court Judge Timothy Walmsley to prohibit the defense from introducing bad character evidence about Arbery at trial. This includes his past convictions, prior encounters with law enforcement and his mental health history, they said.

Such evidence, the motion said, is “irrelevant and inadmissible as to the issues in this case, including the issues of self-defense.”

No trial date has been set because of the coronavirus pandemic, and all three defendants remain in jail.

In July, Walmsley denied bond to Bryan. Two months ago, the McMichaels filed motions seeking bond, but Walmsley has yet to schedule hearings.
