Hard to deny the productivity from either player and especially from Cooper who played great in the SEC with a combination of TFL's and sacks. While the premise of other players reaching higher ceilings always exists these two guys and probably Trotter as the other All America 1st teamer have a noticeable gap between the other LBs on the big board IMO at least.
I agree. His flexibility and athleticism would play in this defense like crazy. Like a more athletic young Jimmy Ward or a Ramsey that could play safety too
Drafting either one of these guys would help against the run and the pass more than any other player they could draft at 2-42. The speed of Harris and say Wilson because Cooper will be gone, will help close the passing lanes in the middle of the field that last years LB corps couldn't cover. Having Wilson is like having a LB with CB speed at 6'4 235 lbs. A real weapon.
Have you seen them play? I really like Wallace and Coulson too, but they aren't as good as these 2 guys.
I have seen all of them play. There is not a lot of separation between the prospects. What we don't access to is what is said in the interviews, what the teams feel about their character, and their medicals.
The team Captain status can be a little tricky. Some teams will elect Captains for the year. Some teams will elect (rotate) new Team Captains for each game.
