Frustration is a bad situation to live in. Hope, there is still hope. Take a deep breath and, hope the 2026 season will bring better results. Who knows, a better O Line (one can hope), a grinder RB (maybe that can help), even better defense (perhaps). And, and, just maybe, the man sees the light and gets his act together. I think there was a bit of reading his own press clippings going on but I think between NOT getting extend now (team will wait to see if 2026 is a different and improved) or still the same CJ, and perhaps he gets back to basics and get back to what he does best, CJ will be a more productive and stable version of himself. Maybe not rookie of the year level, but with this Run first and best defense team, it may just work out.

Who knows, but hitting the panic button now, and blowing up everything will do nothing for the future of this team. You surely didn't want to do that, right. But there is no option that is good to magically replace CJ with a "proven" Super Bowl ready QB. Just not there, not without mortgaging team future and ONLY if the other team agrees with you.

Trading CJ gives you a chance to win a championship. You aren't going to win one with CJ at QB. Go with Mills for a yr and draft a QB in 2027 would be my plan. (Obviously it's not mine, thanks Hannah) That wouldn't be blowing things up, it would actually extend the window. Next year is a wasted year.

I never had that issue but I could tell CJ wasn't right last yr. He was missing on throws, Ive seen him make in his SLEEP. He was throwing behind players and he was throwing short. I think he started compensating and it all came to ahead in the Playoffs

When it hurts to throw. Your body will subconsciously change arm angles to find the slot that hurts the least. CJ’s arm angle/power has changed. I’d bet a lot of money he is suffering from a rotator issue. Drew Brees dealt with this early.

If it’s zapped his arm strength, that takes away the one elite trait CJ had.
Average athleticism with average arm strength means elite processing and accuracy is going to be needed. Like Brees.
Does CJ have that level in him?
