Good point. G-League, OTE, and the lower-level international leagues are all valid options for college-age players that are sucking up a lot more US talent than they once did. I wasn't that impressed with the NCAA class this season relative to around 10 years ago. Brandon Miller is a pretty bad "best college prospect".

 

Ausar is lighting it up. Hopefully since we got the better brother Amen will be a great one as well

 

I think that's an issue of drafting anyone.

 

Ausar is feeling like a Tari Eason that got into Stanford but chose not to go. He's going to end up like Tayshaun Prince/Iggy but a better offensive package.

Andre Iguodala is a Perfect Comparison for Ausar Thompson.

 

What matters is us being better than Detroit going forward, so the other brother signs with us vs Amen signing with them.

 

Tari Eason and Ausar Thompson are really Similar.

Ausar Thompson can really set some Rookie Records for Points, Rebounds, Steals, Assists

Yeah, I don't think the real "The Professor" would like that too much.

 

Some of the NCAA issues also have to do with the fact most of the kids going there are unprepared and then on top of it stay only one year. Then again, some of it has to do with "systems" that are catered to the school more than the individual, which I guess I can't blame completely, but sometimes hide talent.

Agree with you on the 3 pt line. NCAA needs to make that a legit 3 pt line. I don't even know why people compare shooting percentages from the NCAA like some dude is guaranteed to shoot 40%+ in the NBA.

I kind of want a league like OTE to flourish for this reason. If you want basketball as a career, then by all means, be allowed to do it 24 hours. If you fail at it, blame yourself and your parents, because you just weren't good enough to do it.

 

I'm thinking when Cade comes back things will look smoother. In the meantime they let Ausar run the point.

I didn't spend much time evaluating draft prospects this year because I didn't have the time.

I didn't know it before the draft but the more i see from Amen the happier i am with the pick.

Not only did he look really good in that one Game but i think his personality is what this team needs.

He reminds me of more old school nba personalitys. Very down to earth and humble.
