You're the one who brought up "Trump has magical powers" in regard to a discussion on whether Trump can win. If you actually do consider that there is a possibility that Trump can win why bring up "magical powers" into the discussion which you've done multiple times? And again you bring up magic. There is no magic that is needed for Trump to win. If you look at the metrics he's still not that far off from what it took him to win last time. As you note he won with less support that Romney. As you also note there is likely to be voter suppression. Trump is certainly facing long odds and at the moment longer odds than 2016. That doesn't mean he can't still win. A swing of only a few percentage points in a handful of states would be enough for him to win.
That would be republican senator john thune, and yes, it would be illegal for trump to stage a campaign event at the white house...
What has happened to the Republican Party???? T_Man Republicans Aid Kanye West's Bid to Get on the 2020 Ballot https://news.yahoo.com/republicans-aid-kanye-wests-bid-120111565.html At least four people who have been active in Republican politics are linked to Kanye West’s attempt to get on the presidential ballot this year. The connection raises questions about the aims of the entertainer’s effort and whether it is regarded within the GOP as a spoiler campaign that could aid President Donald Trump, even as those close to West have expressed concerns about his mental health as he enters the political arena. One operative, Mark Jacoby, is an executive at a company called Let the Voters Decide, which has been collecting signatures for the West campaign in three states. Jacoby was arrested on voter fraud charges in 2008 while he was doing work for the California Republican Party, and he later pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor. Jacoby, in a statement, said his company was nonpartisan and worked for all political parties. “We do not comment on any current clients, but like all Americans, anyone who is qualified to stand for election has the right to run,” he said. New York Magazine reported Monday evening on the campaign’s links to two other people with partisan ties. One is Gregg Keller, the former executive director of the American Conservative Union, who has been listed as a contact for the campaign in Arkansas. Keller, who did not respond to a message seeking comment, is a Missouri-based strategist. He was under consideration to be Trump’s campaign manager in 2015, a role that was ultimately filled by Corey Lewandowski, according to a former campaign official. Another person linked to the West campaign is Chuck Wilton, who is listed as a convention delegate for Trump from Vermont and as an elector with the West operation who could potentially cast an Electoral College vote for West. Wilton could not be reached. He and his wife, Wendy, a Trump appointee at the U.S. Department of Agriculture, have been political supporters of the president. She hung up immediately when called at her office. Late Tuesday, a local reporter in Madison, Wisconsin, recorded a woman dropping off ballot signatures for West. A report in Vice identified the woman as a Republican elections lawyer, Lane Ruhland. Ruhland worked for the Republican National Committee during the 2016 presidential election recount in Wisconsin. She did not return requests for comment, and a spokesman for the law firm where she works, Husch Blackwell, did not have an immediate comment.
My understanding is this does violate campaign laws but Trump and his family have given campaign speeches already from WH grounds. Doing some illegal or unethical is just another day in Trump's WH.
I doubt Kanye becomes much of a factor but it seems like there is as much a danger of him siphoning off some of the small black vote for Trump as any possible harm to Biden.
Good Lord, this man is going downhill fast! This word salad makes no sense, then he loses track of what he was saying and starts talking about the WHO. Folks, he's lost his mental cookies. This man cannot be President. He's not even CLOSE to being mentally fit, in fact he's not capable of any type of executive role at this point.
Well as a starting point at least we know firsthand what happens to the country when there is a complete vacuum of leadership filled with inexcusable stupidity, ineptitude, and divisiveness. In other words, it couldn't possibly be any worse than the current state of affairs. In fact, if Biden were declared incompetent there is likely to be a very competent VP to fill the role.
What do you expect from a big time Trump donor who got his job simply because he has poured money into Trump's pockets?
LOL, sounds just like Trump. Mentally and physically unfit. He rambles words of nonsense, can't pronounce words, can't read a teleprompter, and can't hold a glass or walk down a ramp. The bonus is that he is a narcissistic liar who prides himself in the art of deception. He doesn't have an empathetic bone in his body, and he acts like Covid-19 deaths are a nuisance to him, but weaves the numbers into his twisted warped success story. The only Trump lovers left are greedy heartless multi-millionaires and billionaires, racists, rednecks, and dumbasses who fall for his BS. Oh, and Putin of course. He loves having Trump on his puppet strings.
Yep. Convince your supporters that vote by mail is bad and then kneecap the post office so they can’t handle the load and the smarter voters are impacted more. When tons of ballots don’t arrive on time due to your actions, declare that you were right all along and use that as proof.
Every time you post what you view to be an attack on Biden’s mental faculties, it reminds me that Trump is much worse. Thanks for reinforcing my vote; the Biden campaign should pay you
He's technically correct: https://www.refinery29.com/en-us/2020/08/9949970/hatch-act-violation-president-trump-administration
Almost 160,000 Americans have already dies and the number is steadily growing. We have double-digit unemployment. There is growing civil unrest, worsened by the divisive tone coming from Washington. Sorry, I don't think the American people are unclear on the candidates, especially the incumbent.
By coincidence, these are two republican states that trump needs to win to have any chance at all of reelection...
