Mayfield should be demoted soon. Also, maybe an outfielder from AA should get promoted since Alvarez has been called up, and Tucker will likely follow soon.

Round Rock has scored 11, 26, 10, and 19 runs in their last four games.

Drew Ferguson went 6-6 with 4 RBI, including a solo homer, and scored four runs tonight.

He deserves to play in the majors. Probably not with us, and, realistically, he'll probably have a debut similar to Mayfield's, but please, let the kid play. He's been dreaming about it all his life.

Imagine what’ll happen if they get a game or 2 with Springer, Altuve, and Diaz...

Kelvin Cato once had a triple double in preseason

Cato got a pot of coffee and then some. Though Cato was more promising.

Dennis will do well in AAA considering he is skipping 2 levels.

Enoli Paredes worked 4 perfect innings, striking out 5 in his AA debut. Not too shabby.

Tucker homered again. He certainly has turned his season around.

It’s great to see him blasting the ball into the stands in the outfield... He’s got corner stone type of talent, which teams cover, and franchises need to stay on the cutting edge. It was a bit worrisome he had such a slump to start the season, but a sense of relief he’s producing.

Josh Rojas has surpassed 50 PA in AAA, the first meaningful checkpoint. He is hitting extremely well. He’s carrying a 7.4% k rate, a 14.8% bb rate, and a .267 ISO, good for a 161 wRC+. His baserunning carried over, as he has 6 SB in 11 games. As a no-pedigree prospect, he will have to get to 200, 400, or possibly even 600 AAA plate appearances before he’ll be taken completely seriously, but just based on what he’s done over the last 2 years, he looks like a future everyday major leaguer, with plus on-base skills, plus baserunning, double digit HR power, and enough defensive versatility to make it easy to find a place for him. He should almost certainly be listed among the organization’s Top 20 prospects.

Kolton Wong and Joey Wendle seem like decent comps.

He's had incredibly low swinging strikes number for a while, and he's had moderate power or better at most stops. Up until AAA, he's had decently low GB%. I could easily see him in the Kiké Hernandez role for some team.

Here is his 2019 spray chart.

Any insight into whether he’s still only hitting mistakes?
