100% free but probably not 100% legal, right? And I have to watch on my computer, right? How do I watch on like an apple TV or firestick or something?
MLB TV is a fantastic deal. Since I left Houston in 2015 I’ve gladly ponied up the fee for it, unlike NBA LP which I cancelled after one season because who likes 1/3rd of your games being blacked out on account of ESPN TNT and freaking NBA TV??? But if you’re local and a cord cutter you’re going to have to find some questionably legal way around the blackout system which is in place in every sport. I’ve heard slingboxes could do this, as could logging into MLB TV via a VPN. Reddit seems the simplest but their streams simply can’t measure up to the hidef that MLB TV usually provides.
Honestly not sure how to watch on Apple TV or Firestick. I'm sure they're not 100% legal, but the fact that the same streams have been up and running for multiple seasons now would lead me to believe that there's nothing that serious about it.
The fact that we can roll out this lineup for the first ST game is impressive. 5 guys who will get at least somewhat regular at bats during the season (counting Jake and Stassi) and the other 4 guys all have MLB experience. The depth of the AAA/AAAA guys is such an advantage in case of injuries.
Weird I’m hyped to see Bregman, Fisher, Reed. It’s just game 1 of spring training. Debating on watching it at home or going to a bar for a bit. Grab a few beers.
[deep breath] Ahhhhhhhhhh. It's back. The first time I've ever heard, "Your Defending World Series Champions" attached to my team.
Who the Fook is this Arm n Hammer pitcher? Let the complaints start now!!! Gentlemen start your b****ing.
You 100% will not get into any legal trouble (they’d be going after the people providing the streams) and generally there are multiple people providing them. With that said usually there’s at least one which allows for mobile streaming so you can also stream from your phone. I generally just use an hdmi cable and connect my laptop to my TV but I’m sure there’s a way to use Apple TV.
Armandhammer is legit. Up to 94mph, changeup looked above average, and slider looked at least average. Was able to hit his spots and move his fastball around. Scouting reports were pretty on point with him.
