They may want to wait until he has a slump and comes out of it to show he can overcome some adversity. Or they may just want to give him more than 115 PA. He's striking out 27% of the time so it's not like he doesn't have anything to work on. I agree he should be promoted but those are some legit reasons why they are holding off.

Agreed! Hard to believe, but this is his first experience in the US, and he's all of 28 games in. It wouldn't be the end of the world to let him enjoy the all-star game next week, and then call him up.
