Good defensive catcher? Sounds like a manager already

Seems that our B1G scout was quite vocal in pre-draft discussions.

    62 Walks in 78 innings.

LOL, yeah I think that would constitue control issues. But maybe he can figure it out and be a huge steal.

Seems like the opposite from what we've drafted in the recent past.

Boomer White not going yet is surprising. Kid's bat is going to play in the bigs and he'll find a position to play.

Oklahoma/Kansas JUCO parks make Lancaster look like Petco Park.

Toro-Hernandez is from Greenfield Park, Quebec and of Venezuelan descent.

Expect a run on seniors for the Astros here.

Whitley was one of the more obvious prospects for 17, hard to give a great or awful grade on that pick but he is not who I would have chosen. B- prospect, C/C+ grade on the pick.

Dawson is a limited prospect defensively, hasn't shown any plus plus tools, pretty narrow margin for error for him, I don't really like the pick but Luhnow has an excellent track record with college bats. C+/B- prospect, C grade on the pick.

Rogers is a good pick, there are a couple of other guys I would have taken there but good pick. C+ prospect, C+ pick

Make Toro the catcher in Greeneville and watch his stock skyrocket when he mashes and the defensive reports aren't bad.
