gotta be honest, haven't paid any attention at all outside of lfc (and even that's not much since lfc is depressing). but what happened here exactly? is it that tax stuff that i heard about a while ago? like tax evasion?
In case of Messi, this sums it up pretty good: https://www.forbes.com/sites/robert...om-lionel-messi-prison-sentence/#20066c5a2ccc In case of former Barca president Rosell, he's a suspect in cases of money laundering and tv rights. http://www.espnfc.com/barcelona/sto...ndro-rosell-arrested-in-money-laundering-case With Neymar, it's similar to Messi and tax evasion around the whole transfer to Barca. Ronaldo case is similar to Messi, with him having huge sums in offshore banks and companies for tax evasion.
To be fair, there are people out there doing the same things these athlete's managers seem to be doing. No one gives a fk. Because those 3 players are the Top 3 players of this generation does not mean they can do whatever they want yet this also does not mean ppl should freak out about things that other rich non athletes have been doing for years. I give credit to the Bayern president that he underwent jail time for what he had done (tax evasion, same thing) but he should not have been appointed President in the first place. Same goes for Barca, Real, PSG and others. This should be handled carefully and not exposed to the media prematurely. People forgive these things easily but complain when things were exposed in the media afterwards. (Sweeping it under the rug because it has been your fav club.) This double standard is more than concerning and destructive. I still want to watch CR7, Messi, Neymar Jr. and Suarez.
1860 Munich down 0:1 after two minutes in the first leg of relegation. Their investor pumped more than 60mil into the club in the last few years, guy has to feel like crap for sponsoring this sh** show.
Ismaik is human trash and the best example why football clubs should not be run by sheiks and oligarchs. Too bad 1860 made it a draw, but I still hope they fail and go down to 3. Bundesliga, so we finally don't have to share our stadium with them anymore.
Of course, Mr. Guardiola can't be successful with this 500Mil+ roster and needs a new starting eleven. Super super coach.
He is clearing house to make the team he really wants. He more than proved himself at Barca. He inherited a team that doesn't play his style so he is changing that.
Kind of easy to prove yourself when you are blessed with Messi, Xavi, Iniesta, Pique, Busquets, Puyol etc. And he didn't even invent their style, the likes of Cruyff, van Gaal and Rijkaard implemented the possession-based system. Just feel like it's a joke to have him in the GOAT coach conversation, he's never won anything without elite teams and we've seen him being outcoached quite a lot, Pep's also never shown the ability to adapt to his players or opponents. I bet you a ton of coaches would have the same success if given the rosters and money that Pep is blessed with.
Pep was a better player than a coach now. Kudos to him that he is an above average coach and a pretty good player. The legacy of his would still be more than positive. I liked the player, meh bout Guardiola the coach. There are not so many people out there with his successful double background, there were good coaches who were mediocre players or in some cases not really fulltime pro players. I still do not get the hate. Maybe he was blessed with coaching the best teams of the world from the start instead of working his way up. Perhaps it's his past relationship to former team's doctor Müller Wohlfahrt......who knows Even Carlo A. who I would think is a Top 3 coach easily (won CL with 2 different teams) can't take his team to the CL finals every year, or has problems doing it at all. https://www.si.com/planet-futbol/20...rld-simeone-pep-guardiola-jose-mourinho-klopp
He began by proving himself with Barca B team. He was handed a huge team in a huge mess and he made his mark. Bayern never really gave him the control he wanted. It looks like City is giving him everything and I think this is where he will either settle his legacy as an elite manager or show he isn't as elite as many thought he was.
Bayern and Juve officials will meet for the Douglas Costa deal after the CL final, according to Calcio Mercato. Hope this happens and we can fetch a nice sum for that idiot.
1860 Munich need three goals in the 2nd half of this game or they'll be relegated. Five(!) of their teams (2nd team, u19 etc) will probably be relegated, what a season lmao.
19 year old dominic solanke, a striker from chelsea. fukk yeah! i love it when lfc signs nobodies in hopes for a better tomorrow! screw today right? prepare for tomorrow. maybe... just maybe... maybe lfc might win a real trophy in 50 years... tomorrow. pick em young, develop them, let them go to bigger clubs if they turn good. it's the lfc culture.
