Want to tip jar bet that. A healthy gs team vs whoever in the west at full strength will not lose in the 1st round next year
Yeah, it's a fact. I am as tired of the media crowning of the Warriors as people like so many CFers whining about how lucky the Warriors are. How would you feel if the Rockets won a chip with all the opponents having injuries and people kept reminding you that they were just a bunch of lucky bastards. I thought of all the people, Rockets fans should be the most sympathetic of this because of the "no-Jordan" monkey hanging around our neck.
Personally I think if Durant would have returned to health after their mid season trade that Westbrook and Durant would be far too much for the Warriors. But it's a moot point I guess. Just like people that think Jordan would have beat Hakeem in the finals. No way to prove it so barring some miracle like JR Smith playing like a NBA player than Warriors are the best team this season.
That's a stupid bet a year beforehand. Odds are they won't be a top seed, so they could be facing a very good team.
It's not stupid lol. I acknowledge gs as a good team and they will still be next year. You speak as if they suck and will lose 1st round. If you feel as strongly as you make it sounds around here you would have no problem
Man I just heard on Monday that Hakeem would have never even beat a Jordan-less Pippen led Bulls. People STILL say Hakeem wouldn't have beat the Bulls. It is what it is. The only way they will change this perception if they say win it again then people might just say "They probably would have beat those teams any ways."
you definitely don't have to suck to lose in the 1st round in the West. And all signs point to it being even tougher next year.
