FWIW Pro Football Focus game grades:
    Mack: 84.4
    Clowney: 84.9
    Dominant run D does matter

    * Osweiler grade 30 points LOWER than Carr, Carr in the 80's, Os in the 50's. Which I don't agree with. So make of it what you will

Not joking too much....if its running offensive plays for Duane BROWN, how bout put Clowney at RB in 3rd/4th down & a Foot plays? (Like that Raider game?)

All he has to do is lay forward and its half a yard or more right there. Yeah its murder on his fragile knees pushing a pile, but just 1 play. Unlike some big boy options who can't move past the line, Clowney just might bust through past the secondary lol

Doesn't make sense since we tripled OAK's total.

Does PFF consider passes that should have been picked?

So, Mr. Clowney has a hit that cause Luck to throw an INT and he has the sack/fumble that was the key play of the game. Not bad.

Happy Clowney is playing so well. He has rebounded nicely from all the injuries, and quieted the naysayers.

I wonder if he can earn a pro bowl with his play. What do y'all think? Probably a pro bowl alternate is best he can hope for.....

3 sacks haven't counted because of football quirks this season. How is the second one not a sack, they should consider that a failed play action pass attempt. The lineman moves up the field but I believe 3 yards is allowed for a lineman to move up, so it could still have been a pass.

I have him with 8.5 sacks. If Savage can rise up the 2014 draft could be the best draft in our history after being considered a joke by radio media guys and many posters. Prioli who was the mastermind behind the early patriots not hoodie considered hitting on 3 of the 7 picks a stellar draft.

This is a really good point. We get caught up in the coulda, woulda, shoulda with Mack and Carr and Jimmy G but the 2014 draft has saved the Texans this season. Clowney looks like a stud, CJF is a plus starter, XSF continues to show improvement and may still be the "10 year starter" they envisioned when they drafted him. Dre Hal is also a solid starter on a good defense. Savage may or not be the messiah but he is no worse than a decent back up in this league.

    That's a really good draft.

If you can dodge practice, you can dodge a ball!?
    what no more clowney jokes?

His versatility allows the nutty professor to experiment like no other. Imagine when Watt, Johnson, Simon are back.

It's crazy that an elite defense like I've been told the Texans have would only have one pro bowler.

Fan voting was awful; Eric Weddle didn't make it but Nelson from the Raiders did. Drew Brees didn't make it either. It's a joke.

That's fair, fan voting is the worst.

mckinney has also turned into one of the best middle linebackers in the AFC. Bouye a top 10 CB.

The 2011 squad had zero defensive Pro Bowlers, yet finished top 4 in yards and scoring.

Don't worry it's just another one of his poor arguments.

It takes a lot of heart and work to go through what he went through.
