If you haven't followed it, its happening now and its 10 times more interesting than the American election cycle.

Anyway, going on a limb but I'm predicting a Liberal majority or they come damn close. Momentum is everything in parliamentary elections and they have it. (Unfortunately for the NDP they're going to get killed as a result)

Well Atlantic Canada is the only part of Canada reporting and the Liberals are leading in every riding so far. Good bye Stephen Harper...

On a separate note, I wish the American Congressional elections (particularly the House) could swing like this but that would require significantly smaller districts.

Too bad potential Canadian savior Ted Cruz turned his back on his native country.

This is kind of cool. I couldn't imagine a US president doing anything like this.

The quality of life in Canada is already much better than the one in the USA, and that gap will only widen with Trudeau at the helm.

Wonder if any democratic candidate would have the balls to say this?

So little interest in our northern neighbor and one of our largest trading partners.

It just sounds like Harper had been in office for way too long and was too reliant on high resource prices. Once those markets started slipping Canadians got sick of the corruption and uninspiring style of Harper.

Harper was trying to turn Canada into a version of America. He was trying to hate on immigrants. Have more money concentrated on the rich. The Canadian dollar has crashed due to the oil prices.

I hope Canada becomes more like Canada instead of the US.

Yes he was trying to make Canadian more like the US. With high oil and other resource prices floating the Canadian economy many Canadians were willing to go along with that but as the Canadian economy is tanking that changed.
