I kinda want Jackson just because we need more bats in the organization... But I have no doubts that Rodon will be a good pitcher and I would be happy with either.

It is way too early to say who is the better prospect. That said Appel has been very impressive in his development.

Krey Bratsen, CF, Texas A&M is a guy I'd love for us to get.
Great center fielder with good speed, hits for average. Lacks power
Not sure where he's projected to go but I'd think rds 10-14..fell in love with him as a player from watching him this weekend in Houston. Hook 'Em though

Maybe it is because our offense can just suck from time to time, but I was super impressed with Travis Duke. He was striking out our lineup the first time through and was surprised to see he was just a sophomore this year.

I generally don't follow too much outside of the top 10 picks and the Ags, but this is a guy that would be a great pick when eligible.

I'm not going to lie. I am stoked that the Astros are at least considering Aaron Nola. I will moonwalk in my kitchen if they draft him.

I think it's Aiken or Jackson. Would be good with either.

Aiken has a great work ethic.

That is a good thing, coming from a High School kid.

    Jackson? What's his story?

From that interview he seems to strongly hint that it's a high schooler.

So a high school pitcher eh?

Is Aiken truly number 1 worthy as a high schooler?

Why has Rodon, who was the huge favorite at the outset, lost so much steam? He was supposed to be a lock #1 for us.

If thats the case lets get a more sure bet and take Jackson? We need at least one more potentially big young bat.

I'd rather take Kolek. Guy has electric stuff with a somewhat deceptive delivery.

He was overworked in college and many feel like he might not have the long term health as a result.

Too big of a gamble. I believe the pick will be Jackson or Aiken.

Yes, but he's an offensive first player.

There is some talk about moving him to the OF to preserve his body.

Yeah but they don't know if he can/will stick there.

I'm getting pretty close to indifferent. It doesn't seem like any of these players are without warts.

Yeah, but some think he should move to RF to preserve his body. Are we going to have a new #1 pick thread today/tomorrow? Rodon dominated the old one, and there's some new candidates now. Public poll, of course.
