5.1 pick Jayson Nix who had a firm commitment to UCLA is close to signing. This was considered the toughest sign from the draft even though the 21st rounder will honor his commitment to LSU Aiken (former Team USA teammate and UCLA commit) texted him after he was selected that "they will be roommates"

Nix's contract is supposedly over a million (370k slot value) but getting 3 of the 4 high schoolers with commits is fantastic. Plus Aiken going under slot probably was enough saved of the 13 mil bonus pool too make it happen. So thanks Brady
Brock Dykxhoorn, according to the Toronto Sun, signed for $250,000, which would be $27,400 under the slot recommendation for the 196th overall pick.
Reed also signed for slot. Jon Heyman has A.J. Reed's signing bonus at $1,350,000 while Brian McTaggart reported that J.D. Davis's signing bonus was for $748,600. Both of these are right at slot.
