Impressive showing for City. Liking what I'm seeing from Jovetic and Aguero is killing it off the bench. Once he gets his legs back and can join the starting lineup City will be that much tougher. Once Mangala is match fit the D will be that much better too. Looking like it will be a two team race in England with City and Chelsea in the running.
Lovren was terrible for Liverpool today. The 1st choice should easily be Sakho and Skrtel (since Agger is not in Rodgers plans). City are just ready. As was mentioned above my post, the season will come down to City and Chelsea.
Congrats for City, but not the end of the world for LFC. We're still figuring out our new boys. Unfortunately our defense will not be that much better as long as Turtle is the first choice. Sakho/Lovren and Agger should always be first. I'm very disappointed in Rodgers' defensive plans, but hope for the best in offense. At the end of the day, LFC should be 2-3 in the standing.
Benatia coming to Munich for medical examination tomorrow. 26mil transfer fee plus 4mil possible bonus payments. Contract lasts 5 years and he's receiving 4mil annually. Nice deal!
Bayern getting a steal. In a transfer market where david luiz goes for 50 mil, benatia should have gone for 60+, he is that good. Only one defender in the world id rather have than him, Thiago Silva. Congrats Bayern, but glad to see that mercenary leave. Wanted a pay raise just 1 year after signing his contract. Forced his way out for $$$ after leading us to the CL with the best defense in Europe. In just one season he earned his place as roma's 3rd choice captain, and he betrays us like that? Oh well Roma already got a great replacement in the young greek CB Manolas and are going to add one of Basa, Balanta, or Chirches. We will be all right. Arrivederci Judas, Benvenuto Leonidas!!!!
lol remember when United fans were hating on Chelsea/Man City for buying mercenaries and buying success? Without researching, isn't United's net spend in the last year by far the highest in England?
As long as they can afford it w/o looking for a sugar daddy to dip into that person's bank account then United is still not quite buying success. Plus, they are still further behind the danger zone of FFP than Chelsea or City. Every club has to buy players, the buying success gibe had to do with City and Chelsea not really relying on actual revenues but rather the cheque book of their owners. Either way, United better make that money count or else all that money being spent in the Moyes and early Van Gaal era will look foolish.
This is going to be Inter's Season bro By the way what do you think about Salih Ucan,my Roma Friends are Saying he is a top talent.
lol idk about that but inter did have a nice quiet mercato tho. Ucan is the real deal. In 2 or 3 years max he will be a first team player. Has the tools to be world class. really excited about him.
Like Ferrari77 said, at least they are doing it with money that the club earned, and not just one person injecting a large amount of money into the club. Wouldn't call myself a supporter of any of those teams, but there is certainly a difference in the way the money was obtained. That being said holy **** they have spent a lot of money, they absolutely need to make it count, or else it is just beyond ridiculous.
Please don't make a fool of yourself. United and even Liverpool buy players using their own generated revenue. Chelski and Man City needed a sugar daddy to come in and pump huge amounts of cash to become relevant. There is a vast difference.
