I'm no Grienke fan but this is all on Quentin. He stands over the plate and gets hit almost at a Biggio rate (he is 170 career hbp away from Biggio's record). It was a 3-2 count in a one run game, you don't throw at a guy in that situation. http://www.plunkeveryone.com/?p=2611

Carlos Quentin makes me sick. Derails Dodgers season. Should be suspended 30 games, minimum. No place for that garbage. Dodgers season "derailed", good for Carlos!
This. This whole thing is BS and Quentin should have to sit for as long as Greinke is out. I don't like the Dodgers either, but that is bush-league.
I agree. Plus it didn't even look like a painful place to get hit for Quentin. I saw on SportsCenter that Greinke has hit Quentin a couple times in the past...and maybe Greinke didn't want to take his chances by throwing Quentin a hittable pitch on 3-2 in a close game. Still no excuse to charge the mound like that. If I were the Dodgers I'd be absolutely pissed at Quentin. Losing a guy like Greinke for 6-8 weeks is a major problem.
Carlos is a meathead. What an idiotic thing to do. I agree with Mattingly, suspend him until Greinke can pitch.
Crazy Dodger fans are going to show up and start stuff with the fans at the next series in SD. After the Giants fan that was almost killed by thugs in Dodger gear a couple of years ago, the Padres better have a **** ton of security out there. There will be Raider fans dressed up as Dodger fans all over the place during that series.

#Dodgers: Greinke will undergo surgery tomorrow to place a rod in his clavicle to stabilize and align the fracture. He should get 3 extra games or he got 3 extra games? 8 games for the {approximately} 8 weeks he's out.
ehh clearly grienke talked some **** as quentin was staring him down. also what is grienke doing trying to body check a guy twice his size? quentin gets blame too of course...but grienke isnt completely clean. imo
Cubs win. Damn I miss JD doing Astros games. Our broadcasting on TV and radio couldn't be more boring. Ugh.
That was pretty cool. Segura started the play at 2nd and ended it at first. From a friend of mine: I just heard from the announcers that according to the rule book, it's "technically not allowed" to go back a base but because he didn't do it "to confuse anyone or make a travesty of the game" it's allowed.
Lost Greinke, now Billingsley.

Chad Billingsley will undergo Tommy John surgery tomorrow, April 24.
