it'd be more fair. but personally, i can't be bothered to look for outside judges. tbh, my main wish re voting is for it to end faster.
I like it when someone at least writes 1-2 lines about each matchup. Nothing too detailed is required but some thought is nice. For me personally, I thought I was going to vote one way but once I started typing out my vote I changed my mind.
Same. The problem with the judges is that they tend to disappear after the first round or so. Either that or we are stuck waiting for them (can't really blame them because it takes some time to write out who you think is going to win) and it extends each round for way too long. I mean we can try it, but I don't think it will be as effective as it seems. Also, the best judging occurs in all time drafts. I know in the last one we had, people spent a while writing out explanations and such. Everyone seems to prefer current drafts though
Donatas both backcourt are impressive, while I gave it to dfb for the low post presence of kg and his bench. dfb's defense is somewhat okay than maloes Yung T both have tremendous FC, cant really decide on because gasol has been amazing all year long. while bluffkins defense in FC is impressive, his guards are slow and old and not been productive all year long. slight advantage for Yung T for me. sorry bluff
i wouldn't mind an all time draft tbh. it's been a while. i also wouldn't mind some new variation of the current too, like single conference draft with less pimped teams. but all time would be fun as well.
There were 5 items in your list. Here they are in random order: Yung-T vs. bluffkin 5-1 +Spooner BigMaloe vs. Donatas 2-5 latebloomer vs. VBG 5-0 Timestamp: 2013-05-17 06:54:33 UTC
Yung-T PG -Ty Lawson SG -Bradley Beal SF -Jeff Green PF-Chris Bosh C - Marc Gasol Bench: Kemba Walker Chandler Parsons Carlos Boozer VS Spooner PG Greivis Vasquez SG Kobe Bryant/OJ Mayo SF Andrei Kirelenko/Matt Barnes PF Blake Griffin C Tim Duncan/Robin Lopez --------------------------------------------------------------------- Donatas g Steph Curry / Ricky Rubio g Danny Green / JR Smith f Paul Pierce f Kevin Garnett / Thaddeus Young c Andrew Bogut VS latebloomer g Jrue Holiday g Iman Shumpert f LeBron James f Paul Millsap c Roy Hibbert g George Hill f Harrison Barnes c JaVale McGee
I'm torn on this one. I think Spooner has more talent. Yung-T has better bench but Spooner has considerably more talented backcourt. Spooner probably has slightly better frontcourt too but overall these frontcourts more or less cancel each other out, especially when you consider that Duncan will play 5+ minutes less than Gasol. But I don't think any Spooner's player can keep up with Lawson in this matchup. On the other hand, Yung-T could put Green on Kobe to somewhat bother him (and probably start Parsons over Beal in that case). Then again, with all of of Spooner's players at 6'6+, Lawson will have trouble on defense, other than getting some steals. Ok, I guess in the end I'm going with Spooner in a very close series.
Yung-t... I feel his fc is just a hair better... Duncan is great but gasol was phenomenal this year, i also like what bosh brings more than Griffin. Ak and green are comparable.... Spooner likely has the better bc, i don't like beal starting, i also don't like grievis next to Kobe... But for me it's tizzles fc that wins it... So dang tough to decide... Will come back later ...
Spooner. Yung-T has a very weak backcourt relative and I don't think his bench can made up for it. I like AK47 better than Parsons or Jeff Green. Latebloomer. I think Donatas' team will really struggle to score in this matchup and in the end too much Lebron.
i hope we can start and finish the finals some time today. vote please. explain if you want, don't explain if you don't, but vote.
Yung-T, because I said so. Latebloomer19, Too much defense for Donatas great offense. Bloomers offense is no slouch either.
I'm going to start a thread for a West Conference only draft. 60 mil cap, probably 1-16/16-1/16-1 (otherwise too much advantage to Durant, since there aren't many all stars). Omer Asik in round 2 I want to try a draft with less pimped teams. We'll see if there are signups. If not, then not. If yes, we can start at some point after this draft.
