Goodness what a goal from Alexis. Despite the goal, the game is still even and within Atleticos's reach.

Barca don't deserve to win la liga this season.

Is Atletico's late season chokejob deserving of a title? Football is never about deserving, man! (although I agree if it was just based on that, Barca shouldn't win)

Atletico is straight dominating Barcelona in the second half so far.

Atleti has way much more heart. They deserved the to win La Liga and have my respect.

Barcelona will have wholesale changes this summer and I'm not even against them selling Messi now. He never came to play against this team be it by brilliant strategy by El Cholo or just him being not there anymore.

Very fair post. Have to admire Atletico's heart, too. I hope they pull off another one against Real.

Congratulations to Atletico, best team in Spain this season.

On another note, the second straight time Arsenal is struggling against a crap side.

Do Arsenal always waste this many opportunities?

Barcelona needs to go through a rebuilding process. Messi hasn't been the player we're used to for well over a season now. Alexis, Pedro, Song and Dani Alves need to leave the team, either because they don't fit in the system, or they're just not good enough. Puyol is leaving, Pinto is leaving, i'm sure Tello, dos Santos, Cuenca, and Affelay are leaving. It's the perfect time to rebuild.

Crazy to think that they tied their last three games against Elche, Getafe and Atletico, when only a win would have sufficed.

If i was an arsenal fan i would want no part of them engraving the trophy before they win... seems like a bad omen

Congrats Atleti, well deserved. Should see lots of changes this off-season.

Reeko, Messi ain't going nowhere. I think he has earned a little leniency. I reserve my judgment on him till after world cup.
