I cannot believe this, but I am rooting for the Lakers to win this series. This is the first time I have really rooted for the lakers since they played San Antonio in the playoffs in 2004.

Lakers in 5. Jazz match up poorly with the Lakers.

My 2 most disliked left in the playoffs. This one is a win-lose situation for me. Someone I dislike is bound to win, sound I dislike is bound to lose.

I'll look at it half-full and say at least 1 out of 2 is out in the 2nd round for sure.

    Lakers in 6 imo.

No teams in the Wast can matchup with Lakers Bigs. In fact the entire league cannot matchups with Bynum/Gasol/Odom frontline except probably Cavs(Shaq/Big Z/Varejao) or Magic(Dwight).

Utah's Bigs(Boozer 6'9, Millsap 6'8 and the 2 stiffs Fesenko/Kousfo) minus Okur have no chance against Lakers' Bigs. Deron Williams? Two quick flops by Fisher will send Williams to the bench.

Kobe will go chucking mode in one or 2 games to make lakers' life difficult.
SO, my guess? Lakers in 5.

Gotta hope for a 7 game series that way they're running on fumes against PHX or SA.

Spurs match up well against their bigs. Duncan/Mcdyss/Blair. Plus, RJ is 6'9 in shoes with a 7ft wingspan so he can guard Odom as well.

And Fisher always gets dominated by Williams. Always.

Deron is the best point guard in the league. It's too bad he has to play for Utah. Lakers in 6.

This is a no brainer. Obviously you root for the lakers in this matchup. Utah is public enemy #1 now that Mavs are out.
