In the Finals the format for the games is 2-3-2 .. the team with home court advantage gets games 1,2,6,7 at home while the away team gets games 2,3,4. Is it just me or would having 2,3,4 at home be an advantage? If each team holds their own at home then that makes the team with the best regular season record play 2 elimination games for games 6 and 7... IMO thats more pressure on the home team.

They no longer use a 2-3-2 format for a few years now.

and fwiw: the last time they did, MIA won the final two games at home in a 7 game series.

I haven't given this a lot of thought, but my gut prefers the 2-2-1-1-1. Probably just for familiarity reasons. It's also how the NHL playoffs have mostly worked.

Thankfully, the 2-3-2 format is dead forever.

Dude, it hasn't been 2-3-2 for some time now. At least do a simple Google search before starting a new thread.
