Her commercials (haven't seen one in a while, probably on other channels) make me smile: "The bike doesn't make me a dike." OK, that wasn't the caption. But as a Democrat in Texas you have to ride Harleys and wrassle gators in your commercials to even have a chance. As the Republican, you have to not get caught doing something horrific. Just show up.

I'm voting for her but not getting my hopes up. A Democratic Senator in Texas? It almost seems beyond the realm of possibility, like my mom and stepbrother talking about how space aliens built the Egyptian pyramids. Texan voters---young, people of color---always find a way to not show up to vote. Old white people vote. And they vote Trump. Call it euthanasia. Assisted suicide?
