Maybe he did that because the Rockets passed up on drafting him 3 times in the first round. With loyalty like that towards a talented home grown player, I don't blame him for pissing on the Rockets this time around.

Some memories there...

The Rafer "is all the Rockets need" comment was fitting about Brent Price as well, unless I'm over estimating his projected impact. He shot 46% from 3 the year before he signed! After he got injured him and Maloney were basically peas in a pod. If healthy coulda have been a scaled down Kenny Smith type.

Damon Stoudamire for sure the destined Rocket that never happened. Rashard 2nd
