10-year anniversary of ClutchFans

I feel like a moron that I forgot this ... I was cleaning out the garage and dating some boxes that I was storing and when I put in "8-8-06" it dawned on me that ClutchFans is 10-years old today.

I started the site on August 8, 1996. It was called "Clutch City '97", which was the sequel to a college goofball newsletter I did in Microsoft Publisher called "Clutch City '96". Technically I had the site up a few days before the 8th, but the first "articles" or thoughts that I wrote were both on August 8th: An article on why we should get Charles Barkley (we acquired him 2-3 weeks later) and a "Super Mario's World", which was me goofing as if I was Mario Elie. Those pretty much launched it.

It got a link on "Marvin's Rockets Page" and that's how many of the early visitors found it. Over the years I've had a few people say they've been reading the site since 1995, but that's impossible: It started 10 years ago today.
