I closed my T-Mobile account a while back and they just sent me a $1.50 MasterCard gift card to settle having a credit on the account after it was closed, however that happened. What in the world am I supposed to do with a $1.50 gift card? I wish they would have just written it off if they're not going to send me a check (and honestly think sending gift cards to settle balances should be illegal). What can I seriously do with a $1.50 gift card? They're going to withhold a buck just to see if it's valid. Sorry for the what-style "why don't you just start a blog?" thread.
i usually just recharge my amazon gift card account when I get small gift cards like that. Easy way to use up the card if you shop at amazon regularly.
Perfect amount to tip a stripper. Dollar is not enough and 2 is too much. Plus you'll look like a G laying the card down.
Last time I got one of these was for a $100 promo. I did do the Amazon route with that as jchu14 suggested, but it seems like I was only able to get a $99 dollar credit from Amazon because one dollar was reserved when trying to verify the card. Yay for fifty cents?
Tell them you never got it. Keep repeating the process until they have spent more money mailing you a new card than what the card is worth. Stick it to the man and have a beer.
I may stating the obvious, but it should be something like .50 for your checking acc# so you boost your purchasing power, another .50 for your saving account and the rest into mutual fund, enjoy it when you retire
