I don’t think so. A simple stack on the wing and we could have easily gotten the ball to a top FT shooter.
Then that’s part of the problem. Way too predictable. We have to have other options if the whistles get swallowed or we aren’t getting a fair shake.
The last 4 inbound plays involved zero motion. Just force the ball to James under pressure. I would have liked to see an inbounds play.
Call time outs when needed, call offensive plays, actually have inbound plays.
I just can’t believe we don’t have a stack, box or off ball screen anywhere in our playbook to inbound the ball. That’s literally basketball 101.

He did poorly manage time outs, call ridiculous offense sets and literally have no inbound play besides force it into James.

Not 100%. D’Antoni gets some of this for poor usage of time outs and lack of inbounding sets.

James is starting to get a reputation for offensive fouls for pushing off. We really need to run some action to inbound
