Paul can’t believe the calls lol
I don’t think so. A simple stack on the wing and we could have easily gotten the ball to a top FT shooter.
Then that’s part of the problem. Way too predictable. We have to have other options if the whistles get swallowed or we aren’t getting a fair shake.
The last 4 inbound plays involved zero motion. Just force the ball to James under pressure. I would have liked to see an inbounds play.
Call time outs when needed, call offensive plays, actually have inbound plays.
I just can’t believe we don’t have a stack, box or off ball screen anywhere in our playbook to inbound the ball. That’s literally basketball 101.
I agree with you. I don’t think he drew up a play all night. Part of the problem.
Mike got out coached the entire 2nd half.
Inbound plays http://www.stack.com/a/basketball-inbound-plays Rockets literally did none of this. Just playing pick up ball.
He did poorly manage time outs, call ridiculous offense sets and literally have no inbound play besides force it into James.
It’s hard to get open when the opponent can double you up. This is where off ball action like screens or stacks comes into play. Or we could...
Not 100%. D’Antoni gets some of this for poor usage of time outs and lack of inbounding sets.
I have no idea. That’s just poor coaching.
The first time definitely. The second time Harden took the bait.
I think it’s a culmination of frustration with lack of foul calls. He went chest to chest with smart before that. Really need to get some help...
James is starting to get a reputation for offensive fouls for pushing off. We really need to run some action to inbound
Harden lost his composure
The team is limited. All just watching James
Damn nene had a layup but pumped
Nene hammered. No call
