I think his road ERA was under 1.00 last year. It was hovering around 0.33 for the first couple of months of the season.
I'm not comparing them, I was just drudging up the most extreme case of OPS vs. Ks. I'll take a career 90 K and .812 OPS per year guy, though.
I'm not saying he's as good as Dunn, I'm just saying strikeouts don't mean much. The least strikeouts Dunn has had when playing 158+ games is 168....
Yeah, it was shameful, but he's slugging at .568 so far. Though it's still early in the season. I'm sure Adam Dunn's had a few golden fezzes...
Batting average is a useless stat. If his OPS is over .850, this will be a good season for the Astros.
