Depends on the broker. Some broker's (like my wife's) only require a fixed fee for each transaction. Some charge 30-35% of the agent's earnings...

Standard comm for selling a home is 6%, with 3% to the selling agent and 3% to the buying agent. So basically, his realtor would get 1.5%...
