    AT&T hasn't had exclusive rights since February 2011. I recommend Verizon. Sprint also has the iPhone btw.

    Also, does your rom support "ring" type lock screen? if not, it won't give you the full ICS look but it will theme the standard lockscreen a bit

    To simplify it, it controls the OS and battery consumption. you install a kernel the same way you install a rom. use clockworkmod recovery
