Who were the key defensive players? I still saw Watt and Clowney out there. Maybe they took out the scrubs Cushing, Wilfork, and Hall?

Sadly this is true. Hoyer is the best of two terrible QB's. Hoyer a good backup NFL qb, and Mallett should be out of the league.
Helps when the defense is only giving up 16 points compared to 41.
Hall needs to be cut this week as well.
