Some awful ABs today. Just hacking at everything outside of the zone, my god.
Pretty disappointing to not get Kemp home after that leadoff single.
For sure. I appreciate the shifting and it works more than it doesn't but you have to be cognizant of your opponents when you decide whether to...
Gonna be tough sledding to get two runs today.
Hopefully at some point Hinch and crew will realize that the shift doesn't work against the A's. They handle the bat too well.
This is what the A's do.
Shift doesn't work against the As. How many damn games are they going to need to see to realize it.
Even if he hasn't decided on what to do, he won't go back to Luke today. He can't.
His bat in the lineup would be huge to have against LHPs. Would be able to have him at 3rd and Marwin at 1st.

I honestly cannot believe this team is already back up to 3 games under. Realistically thought it would take until the ASB to get to this point.
Bunt there smh. Terrible.
You can play matchups in the bottom of the 8th with a one run lead. That is the pefect time to play matchups.
Shifting against the A's just doesn't work. That is what they want.
Doesn't help when the manager puts them in disadvantageous situations. Valbuena and Rasmus are putrid against LHPs.
Hinch not PH'ing for either Colby or Valbuena, then going back to Gregerson in the 9th is just laughably bad. No excuses.
Hinch stays being a robot.
Ridiculous. Hinch not being pro-active costing us another game.
Get Giles going. He cannot be blowing games like this constantly.
Hold onto your butts guys.
