I got a HP desktop. It seemed to do the dew. Got it at Walmart, like 2 years ago for around $399. I rarely use it since I got my HP Pavilion though.

In that price range, I would just stay with an HP.
Just to let the OP know, I have the same exact problem. Only thing is, my dog is a 100lb yellow lab. She digs wholes big enough to bury a body....
