If he's going to be jittery, pitching in an 8-1 game isn't going to approximate pitching in a save situation in a close out game at Fenway, IMO.
Still dunno why Hinch has Giles warming up... No benefit for letting the Sox see him in a non-save situation. Then again, Kimbrel is in now too...
