I just don't think we will wait that long unless chas and dezenzo rake this season.
It looks like he may have found the sucker with the Cubs.
You literally have no historical data to back up your claim. Paredes has always been better offensively than Pena. Again, I hope Pena does hit...
That's not saying much. Pena can do that with an average bat because of his defense. If Pena has a higher offensive WAR than Paredes then he will...
I seriously think he will make it impossible to keep him in AAA until that late in the season especially if we are contending. If anyone gets hurt...
Like Alex Bregman or Tucker?
How do you crush a kids confidence by putting him in the big leagues with less than 50 minor league games. If anything, he will get overconfident.
So you are saying that Pena will hit more homers and have an OPS higher than Paredes?
Paredes was all star last season and hit 31 homeruns the season prior. Why not have faith? He's 26 years old.
I think he's rated correctly. Amazing defense with an average bat. Makes him solid starter. Any offense above average makes him and all star.
3 guys that are on the 40 man roster with 2 having all-star potential is more than a good return for Tucker.
Dana knows player evaluation. He still has a lot to learn about PR and negotiations, but there is no doubt he knows what a good player looks like.
There a lot of action on that slider. I imagine command will determine if he plays in the show.
The opposite field power is pretty nuts.
ST matters. ST games may not matter that much. It's the stuff they see in practice and the stuff they throw that matters most.
Bring him up. Let him play. Send him down if he can't handle it.
Pena is having a hell of a spring. If he gets going, the outlook changes quite a bit.
I didn't realize he drafted Arrighetti. I take it back then.
Where did these pro Russian and antiwar republicans come from?
I'm calling Rodgers being our opening day second baseman right now.
