The first apron is the issue, not luxury tax.
It was questionable at the time and looks bad in hindsight. Especially when we look at the glut of wings.
You got that from his post? sounds like he’s saying they carrying Fred’s load on both ends of the court will put more stress on other players...
Van Fleet doesn’t have an official no trade clause but his player option next season is an unofficial one. If the Rockets trade him to a location...
Good for Fred.
I don’t put a whole lot of stock in media contender ranking lists. A good portion of them don’t watch the games.
Great defense, not great shooting
He’s nowhere near ready (a lot of that isn’t on him). We’re cooked as far as title contention goes (long shot anyway). Bottom half playoff team...
Shooting isn’t the biggest issue. Just look at this last playoff run with Denver and the fact that he’s currently sitting at home.
Westbrick can’t help us
They don’t have a choice but to hope someone can be better.
You have to wonder if this changes Durant’s mind about wanting an extension.
We can afford exactly zero of these per players. The Rockets will have to make a trade to replace Fred.
Durant doesn’t have Fred’s leadership qualities. He just wants to do his job (which is scoring) Durant can play make but he’s at his best off...
We can’t use it
Agreed, I’m in the minority that never wanted Durant. We aren’t ready to compete at level yet imho.
He doesn’t have a snow ball’s chance in hell of filling this void. He didn’t even get a rookie season lol
That’s great for defense but how is that for ball handling? I expect us to average a lot of turnovers.
I’d definitely consider it.
Ime seems to vehemently disagree given how much PT Fred gets and how close they seem off the court.
