Taking was the main thing I expected to see significant work on this Spring so no surprise there. Results too be seen in a few weeks.

I have Neyens beginning the season in the FCL or on the bench in A ball. I think the FCL offers a more valuable experience for him.

I have Powel as 1 of 4 Short Stops at A ball while outfielders are a little thin across the board above Fayetville. The move makes sense.
Diaz is not worth anywhere near his arbitration salary. The Astros would be better off trading him for whatever prospects they can get this...

WBC competition in no way compares to Spring training. These guys have been playing baseball all their lives. WBC is just a few more ball games....
I do not think you get it. Watching WBC games is not something I am interested in because of my opinion about them. Why would I want to watch...
In recent memory, the Astros break ST camp with one or more pitchers on IL. This season they will begin ST camp with a couple of pitchers on IL.
